Situated on the Wandle Trail, the nature park is on the site of an old sewage works, and has a number of small ponds that support a variety of insect, amphibian and bird life. It's an ideal place to walk, relax, listen to bird song and enjoy the various trees and wild plants that thrive across the site. If you are lucky you may spot a kingfisher darting along the river, or a grey wagtail bobbing by the river bank.
