The Grove is a picturesque medium sized park with a combination of wide open grassed areas, varied wooded areas, a winding river with a small but dynamic waterfall and it is adjacent to the lovely Carshalton Ponds. It is large enough for a relaxing stroll but small enough to fully discover in a couple of hours. There is a large interesting 19th century house (external viewing only) and a historic waterwheel. To relax there is a cafe with both inside and outside seating and for the energetic there is a ballcourt and a grassed football area. The park is 5 minutes walk from Carshalton main line rail station, well served by buses (127, 157, 407 & X26) and there is a convenient carpark (paid) in nearby Carshalton High Street.
No events take place.
