Royston Field is a small flat open space with three entrances; from Franklin Road, Snowdon Close and Westbury Road. A recreation ground, in the very heart of Penge, and just off the High Street. It is the former playing field of a relocated primary school.The Football pitch is very well used and it is popular with dog walkers.It is probably best known as the venue of the annual Penge Fete held every June. It has hawthorn hedges around the perimeter, with a stand of poplars at the south end and some recently planted redwoods along the pathway that crosses the field.
