A 1-km long riverside promenade walk, created in Victorian times and opened by Queen Victoria in 1856. Lovingly being restored by community group Queen's Promenade Friends. Attractive flower beds being created, inviting promenaders to enjoy the riverside location. A cafe at half-way point provides refreshments, with Kingston town centre only a short walk away.
The organisation with legal responsibility for Queen's Promenade is Kingston council.
Queen's Promenade is managed and maintained by Queen's Promenade Friends and Glendale Services.
