Paradise Park is a small neighbourhood park created in the 1970s with a large grassed area and lots of opportunity for sports and play. There is a quiet area dedicated to Mary Tealby who founded a home for stray dogs in 1860 where the park now stands before it moved to Battersea. A one-day festival is usually held in early September. Adjoining it is Freightliners City Farm (Café open Thursday-Sunday, toilets available during opening hours) and Paradise Park Childrens Centre (accessible toilet at discretion of staff). Toilet adjacent to park-keepers hut is available when keeper is on duty.
