This is a large 120 year old park designed by Parker and Unwin, the famous Garden Suburb Architects as part of the Hampstead Garden Suburb Conservation Area. It is being slowly refurbished by local volunteers 'Northway Gardens Organisation NGO'. Since 2014 they have completely replanted the Rose Gardens that were abandoned 25 years ago. A lot of work has gone into clearing dead trees and shrubs to bring light and sunshine to abandoned areas. In 2018 they started work in FLETCHERS GARDENS the area between Northway NW11 and Kingsley Way NW11. This is becoming a Community Hub with regular 'pop up Tea Parties!. The wonderful new Rose Beds are just part of this historic park which is being restored. Tree work, more benches and better paths. On several walks including the Capital Ring.
