The park is large and hilly with lovely views across the borough to Alexandra Palace. It has wide open green spaces for ball games and kites and relaxing and more wild areas for picnics. You can take a relaxing walk through the rustic path in the woodland and spinney or sit by the wildlife lake and enjoy the birds and plants. Through the middle of the park runs the Moselle River, mostly hidden through the rest of its route, which has a wide variety of plants and flowers and the wildlife love it too. There is an orchard area, cared for by volunteers, with a variety of fruit and nut trees and lots of meadow areas with different flowers and grasses at different times of year. If you are sporty you can use the large outdoor gym or play basketball or football in the multi use games area or table tennis or just run or walk around the paths. In the summer there is a small paddling pool for toddlers to splash about in, next to the regular children's playground. The skateboard area is well used and the long bmx dirt track is very popular as it winds its way through the trees. If you dont have a bike you can hire one from Rockstone Bike Hub or you can fix your bike there too. Basically it has something for everyone and at its centre is Lordship Hub, a community run centre and cafe, which is the focus for classes and community events in the park. There are regular park events from music events in the outdoor theatre to our annual flower and produce show in the Autumn, Apple Day, Wassail, Blockorama, Youth Fest and much more.
