A Grade II listed riverside park that sits on The Thames holds the modern day view of Greenwich featured in Canaletto's famous 18th century painting, 'A View of Greenwich from the River'. There are three acres of waterfront parkland and easy access to Greenwich via the Greenwich foot tunnel under the River Thames. The park has many tables and benches which are ideal for family picnics. To the east end of the park the is an enclosed Remembrance Area to Remember those from the Isle of Dogs who lost their lives in war We holds an Armistice Event for local community and schools on the Friday close to 11th November. The park currently holds a Green Flag Award.
