Hampton Heath is one of the few remaining fragments of the historic Hounslow Heath, and features a mosaic of trees, native shrubs, grassland and wildflowers. It is home to birds, bats, lizards, butterflies and bugs, some stunning and rare fungi... and more. Lying on the London Loop footpath, but tucked away behind the David Lloyd Leisure Centre, Hampton Heath is part of a larger Site of Interest for Nature Conservation. The 5Ha Heath is a haven for wildlife and nature, for families and dog-walkers. A local community of volunteers is leading the habitat management and restoration, and litter-picking - with sessions (almost) every Saturday morning. Dog walkers are very welcome (but please leave nothing behind!).
