The Durnsford Recreation Ground has a wide open grassed space surrounded by mature trees, flower beds and a fruit hedge, containing - apple, pear, plum, quince, hazel and cherry trees together with raspberries, redcurrants, blackcurrants and gooseberries. When in season the fruit is available for anyone to pick. There is also a wooded area where wild blackberries and sloes grow. There are play facilities which cater for all age groups.
