Danson Park is the second largest park in Bexley and is designated Grade II on the English Heritage register of parks and gardens of special historical interest. The Charter Oak is over 200 years old and is a large oak tree in the centre of Mid Park which has been recognised as one of the ""Great Trees of London"". Danson House provides a central feature to the park scene. It is used as the Registry Office for Bexley and also has a tearoom. The Stable block to the house is now a pub. It is a great park to relax in at our cafe or get active with the multitude of sports facilities.
The organisation with legal responsibility for Danson Park is Bexley Council.
Danson Park is managed and maintained by Bexley Council
