The park is actually designated Playing Fields so has an unusually open aspect, big wide grassy fields. It has a stream at the bottom of the park and a small childrens play area. Most notably it has Clitterhouse Farm Project who run volunteer days in the Community Garden on Fridays and Saturdays and regular events involving everything relating to Arts, Crafts, Sustainability and Community Wellbeing.
