Boxers Lake is approximately 1.5 acres in size. The lake is surrounded by woodlands which are remnants of Enfield Chase. Glenbrook emerges from a culvert and flows through Glenbrook Wetlands, the first in London, which was created in partnership with Thames21 and Enfield Council. The Glenbrook Green Chain includes Boxers Lake and continues down to the confluence with Salmons Brook. Foxes are often seen around the area and occasionally muntjac deer. There are a variety of waterfowl to be seen. Look out for seasonal visitors. You may be lucky enough to see swifts swooping low across the lake and at dusk you may see the flight of our local bats. The popular play area is enclosed by fencing for safety as it is sited next to the lake.
The organisation with legal responsibility for Boxer's Lake and Lonsdale Drive Woods is Enfield Council.
Boxer's Lake and Lonsdale Drive Woods is managed and maintained by Enfield Council
