There are many community gardens in Newham - check out this guide to find one near you!

To help celebrate COP26 we did a walk enjoying some of Tower Hamlets' and Newham's wonderful parks and waterways - beautiful sites for nature that uplift us all. A copy of the map can be found here. Please note that the route follows some waterways, so walkers should wear appropriate shoes and be safe at all times.

We also joined Newham Cyclists for a ride through Newham parks, ending at Cody Docks with the walkers. Follow the link to find out more about Newham Cyclists.

Check out this walking and cycling route which connects many Newham parks with quiet roads and paths wherever possible.

With thanks to Newham Cyclists, who developed the route and provided this guide with interesting historical information. Newham Cyclists do frequent rides, so please check out their website for upcoming events.

Please let us know about any issues with the route; this route is a guide only and we cannot accept responsibility for any issues with the roads or any accidents that might occur. Whether you are cycling or walking, please remember to be mindful of other road users. We hope you enjoy exploring Newham parks!
